Dr. Eniko Macrae

I love being a part of the Grinz team and being part of a patient’s journey toward a confident and radiant smile. I enjoy treating patients of all ages, starting from age 7 and up. I keep up with all the latest advances in the orthodontic field through continuing education, I am board certified, and I offer my expertise in twin and self-ligating braces, Invisalign aligners, clear braces, surgical orthodontics, and multiple types of bite correction and growth modification appliances. I feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community in the Piedmont Triad area.

My Story

I grew up in South Florida, and I had a great childhood swimming on the sandy beaches of the East Coast and enjoying a multicultural environment. I was involved in competitive gymnastics and dance, and later went on to coach through my college years. I gained my Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience at the University of Miami where I graduated with honors. Following my undergraduate work, I went to Gainesville, Florida where I attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry and obtained my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

Though I enjoyed all aspects of dentistry, orthodontics was always my passion and focus ever since I was a patient myself as an adolescent. Therefore, I was very happy when I got accepted to go to Saint Louis University’s Center for Advanced Dental Education and learn from some of the top educators and clinicians in the orthodontic field. In December 2014, I finished my orthodontic residency and started practicing in the Carolinas.

Getting to spend time with people on their journey toward their best smiles is truly a blessing I don’t take for granted. I am thrilled to call the Piedmont Triad area my home, where I live with my husband Scott, our little girl Amelia, and our sweet berne-doodle Hazel. In our spare time we love to visit the mountains, hike, go to the beach, travel, and watch college football. I look forward to many great years serving and being a part of this great community!
